BSplayer (version 1.38 onwards) - once the best video player - now comes bundled with this crap (free version, and maybe the paid one, too). A damn shame... |

I had buffer underruns every time trying to burn CD's, even at 16x, after installing BSPlayer. Before it 52x was no problem. Fortunately BSPlayer was the latest thing I installed, otherwise I could have searched a long time before finding the problem. It's now uninstalled and my computer is healthy. |

It comes with Daemon Tools but you don't have to install it for DT to work. It says that but i didnt. |

From what i saw...when you remove the registry files the program self removes...so if u get rid of the whenusavemsg file under uninstall it becomes possible to delete from add/remove programs under control panel....i guess thats good news for ppl who dont want to download the spyware removal software....and yes whenusave should be sued....and sued soon |

when looking for a free dvd decoder, i downloaded Cliprex DS DVD Player. When I went to install it WhenU Save reared its ugly head. I quit the install and my searcch led me to here...anybody got feedback on this product? Thanks |

Thank you for this info. I heard quite a while ago about this possibility that bsplayer could have spyware inside, but I didn´t believe it. I´m still using the old version without any problems. But I bought a new laptop for my wife and ofcourse I installed the newest version of bsplayer in it! Stupid me. Well everything looks fine now and no harm done yet. So thanks again. |

I just installed Daemon Tools, but my firewall paused the install to ask me to allow it, naturally I blocked it, I hope that was enough, at least I don't see any of the mentioned files or processes running.
It annoys me that the Daemon dowload site didn't clearly state that 'save' comes with it. |

Got this with daemon tools, but luckily my laptop wasnt connected to the net when it tried to install, it couldnt connect to net and didnt set up properly |

ok so my comp was not connected to the internet when whenusave tried to install, but it pops up and attempts to connect everytime I reboot. None of the registy entries or files are installed. How do i get it to stop attempting to install? |

Daemon tools here too, tried to connect but I didn't let it. Also Daemon tools says reboot isn't necessary but it asked to reboot after the install anyway. |

Same happened to me...I got this with Daemon tools...but when it tried to install my Antivirus blocked it & prompted me to delete the file...though i deleted the file but somehow it got installed...though never drove me nuts with any pop ups...but still i saw save.exe process running...
I really appreciate & thank u to help in removing this thing...hope i have completely removed it...it really slowed my Laptop...thanx once again... |

Thanks for the removal instruction... now my shortcut's path has been appended to "C:\Program Files\data\resources\Data\resources\" Can anyone throw some light on this???? just now I reinstalled the OS. for few days this didnt occur, now i checked its got data\resources in all shortcut, startmenu items... :( |

hi all,
maybe could be done like that:
1. find the installer under: c:/program files/Daemontools_WhenUsave_installer.exe
2. get rid of ".exe"
3. restart your computer
4. delect the whole folder
its gone... |

Normally it didn't come with any software. WhenUSave makes software packs to install it with WhenUSave. |
