Wireless News – Tangent Launches WebHawk Content Filtering Solution
Tangent, a provider of technology solutions during the term of health, education, government and military markets, announced the introduction of WebHawk, a satisfied filtering solution that allows users to manage an organization’s Internet traffic.
According to Tangent, WebHawk’s content filtering tools automatically block unsuited websites based on customized rule sets. WebHawk also monitors and logs every part of web activity. In addition to automatic filter rules, administrators can declare the properties of customized white and black lists for each desktop, IP range or user/dispose. WebHawk’s Protocol Control lets administrators control which services they admit on their network for both productivity and security. It also includes a spyware/malware blocker, ~y anti- phishing filter, a network level anti-virus, protocol control, and encroachment prevention.

The plug-and-play solution lets users counsellor, report, send alerts, and block access to proxy and other textile fabric sites. It also blocks non-productive Internet applications, defines policy for user or group, and integrates with Active Directory for user seal.
Other features include an active directory connect, a policy manager, protocol check, monitoring and logging, Open VPN (WebHawk can be used as a replete VPN client or server), and a firewall router.
